February is a month of opportunities in the heart of each AAEC Campuses. At the Arizona Agribusiness & Equine Center (AAEC), excitement filled the air as students and CTE/Ag Teachers geared up to celebrate Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, spotlighting their renowned Agriscience program.

Each campus is nestled amidst its desert landscape; AAEC is a beacon of innovation and hands-on learning. The Agriscience program, in particular, boasted state-of-the-art facilities and a curriculum designed to cultivate the next generation of agricultural leaders.

As February dawned, each campus program prepared its CDE Teams for state competitions in Tucson at the end of the month.

Throughout the day of the state competition, visitors will marvel at the student-led demonstrations, skill performances in sustainable agriculture practices, and the latest advancements in agricultural technology. Students will eagerly participate in hands-on activities under the watchful guidance of judges in each contest area.

For many students, the CDE (Career Development Events) showcased their abilities in their selected areas in agriculture and a networking opportunity that will pave the way for future internships and career opportunities.

At AAEC, February isn’t just a month of celebration—it is a testament to the power of education, passion, and the boundless potential of young minds dedicated to shaping the future of agriculture.
